Info, Schedules and News For The Street Teams

This month there will be some things that will break up the normal schedule of street outreach and sex trafficking prevention training. First, we will will be doing a special traning on the field at Clackamas Town Center on Friday, July 9th. This will take the place of the Thursday training. Secondly, due to the PSU prayer week we won't be having any outreaches or traning that week as we all join the prayer efforts at PSU.

With your help we can grow the impact that Can We Help has on the homeless in Downtown Portland. Resources we bring to the homeless and poor cost more money. There are several ways to be of help, and they are as follows...

Can We Help can accept car and truck donations no matter their conditions. All proceeds of the donations will go towards community outreach. If you know someone who has a car they like to get rid of for a Tax deductible donation please pass on this information to them.

 

To donate a vehicle you must have your title paper work and we take care of the rest. Simply call the Father's House office at 971-230-0030 to arrange the details or emailing us at donate@fathershouseportland.org. You

White athletic socks in large (11-13) men's sizes  Gloves and knit caps. Dark colors only.  Backpacks to carry supplies and to give out to people on the street and to give to those who need them. Hygiene items: floss, sewing kits, chapstick, deodorant, feminine products, razors, Snacks: salty/savory items for those who have diabetes and can't eat sweets

Please call the Can We Help? phone at 503-933-9418 to coordinate teh pick up or delivery of donated supplies.

$150.00 will buy us seix weeks worth of socks, the item most requested by the homeless. $100.00 will buy enough hygiene items ( razors, shaving cream, toothbrushes, tooth paste, etc) for six weeks.
